Video Resume - Strongandfree.ca founder Mike Simpson is a designer and teacher, and his video resume features a score by Mike and was based on a PowerPoint presentation. It is an example of how an effective video can be created from still images, original music, and voice-over.
How is it done?
The video is uploaded as an MP4 and/or FLV (flash video file) and can stream from your page just like a YouTube video (minus the ads and other clutter that accompany the embedded YouTube format). A plugin from the WordPress CMS (Content Management system) was also utilized. We can also easily embed a cross-platform player on your site which utilizes HTML5-ready javascript that can play your video on mobile devices that don’t recognize flash (iPhone, iPad). For this purpose we often employ the industry-leading JW Player, as demonstrated on our Portfolio page.
