Strongandfree.ca works with advanced audio editing software to create brilliant hi-fidelity music and sound for your project. Our specialty is composing original music and recording voice-overs. We work with music industry professionals in genres like: electronica, downtempo, house, hip-hop, rock and reggae. We can also clean up and improve your recordings. We work with various tools, including EQ (equalization), to remove unwanted sound such as clicks, pops, or hum.
Mikooshka – The alter-ego of SAF founder Mike Simpson, a Mikooshka production means funky beats and progressive musical composition. On the chilled-out, downtempo tip, ”Ashanti” takes you on a funky ‘around the world journey via Brazilian and West Africa styles. Check out the “Super Mix” for a DJ-style continuous mix in a similar “world-tronica” vein.

How is it done?
The music is created through programming, recording and micro-sampling. We record using 24 bit USB gear and arrange using software live Ableton Live and Sony Acid. Editing is performed in Sony Sound Forge. We can license something to you or create an original piece of music. Let us know what kind of groove or feel you’re going for.
